British Superbrand, Pitman Training, Signs Master Franchise Agreement in India as Part of Global Expansion

The UK’s leading franchised training provider, Pitman Training, is celebrating this week after the door has been opened to the Great British brand significantly expanding into India.

After taking its unique model of computer-based, experiential learning to the forefront of education and skills discussions at the Indian Education Congress, in Delhi last month, Pitman Training Group has signed a Master Franchise Agreement with Franchise India, that will see the brand roll out a significant number of new centres within 2015 and beyond.

Recognised as a UK business Superbrand for the 3rd consecutive year for Executive Education, Training and Development, Pitman Training has been teaching shorthand in India since the turn of the 20th Century, and is returning now to introduce the modern ‘equivalents’ in office training into the workplace, through learning initiatives unique to the great British brand.

Roy Newey, Non-Executive Director at Pitman Training Group, addressed the Indian Education Congress on ‘Skill Development, the need of the Hour for India’, where he stressed the Pitman Training philosophy: “Skill development must lead to more than a job, it must lead to a career.
